Magic Kingdom Park opened in 1971 and today continues to remain the undisputed king of Theme Parks, drawing more yearly visitors than any other.
The Magic Kingdom is divided into distinct 'lands' with each land themed to its title. Main Street USA, Advertureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Mickey’s Toontown Fair.
Main Street USA
You can take a nostalgic trip down Main Street, U.S.A., aboard a horse-drawn streetcar, a fire engine or a horseless carriage. At one end of the street is Town Square, with its City Hall and tree shaded areas for town concerts by the Walt Disney World Band.
At the end of Main Street is the 'hub' where you'll find roads leading off to the different 'lands' of the Magic Kingdom. Just beyond the hub is Cinderella Castle, and the gateway to Fantasyland.
Adventureland
Your journey here will transport you to exotic regions, where you'll enjoy the idyllic paradise island feeling.
Relive the Disney classic "Swiss Family Robinson", ride a magic carpet into a world of make-believe and adventure with The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Take a wild voyage with the lovable Pirates of the Caribbean. Take a jungle cruise and travel on the rivers of four different continents, see exotic animals, zany explorers and ancient ruins as your skipper leads you deep into the jungle. Enter The Enchanted Tiki Room which is filled with animatronic birds.
Frontierland
Frontierland brings you into the scene of the old western era. Cowboys and horses are all part of the theme in this land. Attraction here include Big Thunder Mountain Railroad where guests zip in and out of a deserted gold mine on a runaway train. Be transported by boat to Tom Sawyer's Island and immersed into the homespun world of Mark Twain. Hop on a hollowed-out log and follow Brer Rabbit into His laughin' place with the Splash Mountain attraction.
Liberty Square
Witness the beginnings of the newly formed United States of America as you step back into the past with the U.S. Presidents. Then see what spirits haunt the present in a spooky mansion.
Fantasyland
The attractions of Fantasyland are based on Disney animated films and is where the classic Disney characters come to life. and include Alice in Wonderland where guests travel in a oversize caterpillar, that travels down the rabbit hole and enters the world of Wonderland. Dumbo where guests ride in Dumbo shaped vehicles, and can control height with a joystick and Peter Pan's Flight where guests travel through London and Neverland. The attraction vehicles are shaped like a Pirate ship and are suspended above the show scenes. It's the ride where you find yourself in the middle of Pooh's blustery day. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a ride where you'll bounce along with Tigger and float away with Piglet.
Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland represents the worlds of imagination, discovery and wonder. Become a Galactic Federation Security Agent and help guard everybody's favourite out-of-control alien: Stitch. Blast off for a superpowered rocket ship ride through the galaxy with the Space Mountain ride. Hitch a ride with some of your favourite "Toy Story" characters or pilot your own spacecraft high above Tomorrowland.
Mickey's Toontown
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and others can be located at each of their houses in Toontown.
